Spring doesn’t officially start for another week plus, but the trees are already teasing with hints of color. The leafless, mucky, dinginess of winter’s end is slowly being swept away. People complain about winter, but it’s not a bad thing to me. It’s a necessary time to rest, slow down, and pause with the earth to simply be. Winter gives us a chance to enjoy the pleasures of coziness, hot chocolate, new sweaters and the sun shining on new snow.

Goodbye winter, thank you for the visit. See you soon, spring.
