Orderly Chaos

I had a good meeting with others today trying to process and deal with the end of this empire. We had participants from Kenya and Australia in addition to North America. The idea of chaos came up, as a natural, cosmic element. A necessary part of creation.

I agree, sort of. Chaos is less seemingly messy energy, more necessary ingredient of being and becoming. I can accept that. I can accept a storm or a natural disaster—not easy, but part of the aliveness of this planet.

But I don’t feel that what we’re experiencing is chaos in that sense. Rather it’s the coalescence of greed, lies, laziness, incompetence, hatred…it’s all human stuff that humans control. Humans choose this. And that I cannot accept. And I still don’t know what to do about it.
